Abby Anderson is a Physical Therapist Assistant and experienced movement professional with over 20 years as a personal trainer and 18 years as a Pilates instructor. She specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy and is an active member of APTA Pelvic Health as well as the PTA representative for the Inland Counties chapter of the California Physical Therapy Association. Abby studied in the Allied Health–PTA program at California Baptist University and kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton, and has extensive training in Balanced Body, Konnector, and STOTT Pilates, TRX and Pilates suspension, and yoga. She has attended annual physical therapy and fitness conferences for more than 18 years, learning from professionals around the world and applying that knowledge to help clients throughout Riverside and Orange County reach their health and rehabilitation goals. Abby strives to show that fitness can be enjoyable and that people can build strength, support pelvic health, and prevent injury at any age of life.

Prajna was born and raised in Mumbai, India, where she also completed her undergraduate studies before moving to the United States to further her education. She earned her Master’s degree in Chicago and went on to complete her Doctorate in New York. With over 11 years of experience, Prajna takes a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to care, focusing on therapeutic exercise, postural and core stability, functional manual therapy, and movement training to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.

She has extensive experience treating patients of all ages across a wide range of clinical areas, including pre- and post-operative care, orthopedics, sports injuries for both recreational and collegiate athletes, workers’ compensation and auto-related injuries, geriatrics, chronic pain, whiplash, and CVA recovery. She is also passionate about performance enhancement, wellness training, and injury prevention.

Outside of the clinic, Prajna enjoys traveling and exploring different cuisines from around the world.

Byron is a bilingual (Spanish & English speaking) physical therapist who earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University and enjoys helping patients feel confident and independent in their movement. He has a special interest in working with older adults, focusing on improving balance, strength, and mobility so they can stay active and safe in their daily lives. Byron also enjoys treating soccer and cycling athletes, helping them recover from injuries, manage pain, and return to their sport with better performance and reduced risk of re-injury. Outside the clinic, he loves cycling, going to local farmers’ markets with friends, and spending time at the beach, which helps him connect with active patients who value a healthy, outdoor lifestyle.

Bailey is an Orange County native who has been surfing ever since she could walk, and her love for the beach kept her close to the coastline as she attended the University of San Diego, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Shadowing home health physical therapists who worked with neurologically involved patients made her fall in love with physical therapy and inspired her to pursue a career in the field. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University and now enjoys treating patients with neurologic and balance conditions, surfers, and those with orthopedic injuries, especially neck-related issues. Bailey is passionate about helping active individuals improve their balance, reduce pain, and confidently return to the ocean and the activities they love

She is passionate about helping people build strength, confidence, and healthy habits that support their unique lifestyles. Outside the clinic, Jordan enjoys spending time at the beach, trying new workout classes, exploring local farmers markets, attending concerts, hanging out with her dogs, and embracing just about any active adventure.

Dr. Andrew graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, where he also excelled in collegiate volleyball and competed at the NCAA level. Following his passion for sports and health, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos. Dr. Andrew enjoys playing and coaching volleyball as well as surfing, which helps him connect with athletes and active patients who want to stay strong, perform better, and return safely to the activities they love.

Get to Know Ryan 

Ryan, originally from Irvine, discovered his passion for physical therapy when his brother suffered an ACL tear while playing soccer, giving him a firsthand understanding of injury recovery and the impact it has on families. After completing his undergraduate studies in Biopsychology at UCSB, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in San Diego. Ryan specializes in treating neck and shoulder conditions and finds fulfillment in helping surfers and children with disabilities get back to the activities they love. On the weekends, you can find him surfing, fishing, snowboarding, or experimenting in the kitchen, and his background living in Hawaii and Japan reflects his love of adventure and diverse experiences, which helps him connect with patients from many walks of life.

Get to Know Nick 

Dr. Nick Takekoshi is our passionate Group Director, dedicated to helping individuals regain movement, improve performance, and return to the sports and activities they love. With a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University San Marcos and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, he has a strong foundation in human movement and rehabilitation. His love for sports and his own curiosity about injury recovery led him to specialize in treating athletes and active individuals, particularly surfers and runners, as well as patients recovering from concussions. With a background in cross country, track, and surfing, Dr. Nick understands firsthand the demands active patients place on their bodies and the importance of optimal function. He utilizes Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) techniques to improve stability, muscular control, and coordination for everything from high-level sports performance to everyday tasks. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Nick surfing, running, and exploring with his wife, Kristina, as he lives the active lifestyle he encourages in his patients.

Dr. Sarah Young knew from an early age that she wanted to work in healthcare, always captivated by anatomy and physiology and how the body moves and heals. After volunteering at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, she decided to become a physical therapist and discovered her passion for patient interaction and guiding people through injury recovery. She graduated from the physical therapy program at California State University, Long Beach, and enjoys staying active herself through Pilates, volleyball, and other sports. Having grown up playing volleyball and basketball, Dr. Sarah has a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and loves treating patients of all ages who want to stay active. She specializes in upper extremity conditions, including shoulder, elbow, neck, and wrist injuries, and is dedicated to helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and return confidently to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Dani Simons, DPT, is a pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy expert in Laguna Niguel with a clinical focus on men’s and women’s pelvic health, chronic low back pain, and lower extremity injuries, with a special interest in postpartum recovery. She takes a person centered, fitness forward approach to care, creating individualized treatment plans that empower her patients to stay active, feel better, and reach their goals. Motivated by a desire to help people return to the activities they love, Dani earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. She believes that movement profoundly impacts our quality of life and the way we connect with one another.

Dani leads an active lifestyle herself and draws on her background in running, rock climbing, yoga, and strength training when working with active adults. She understands the physical and mental toll of being sidelined by pain and uses that insight to design practical, sustainable programs that fit real life.

Outside the clinic, Dani enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their miniature schnauzer, Rocky, cooking to her favorite music, and skateboarding along the coast.
