Get to Know Kathryn

Kathryn Totheroh grew up in Bishop, CA, but moved to Orange County for college and to pursue a career in dance.
She completed her undergraduate degree at CSULB with a BA in Dance Science and spent 10 years as a
professional dancer and instructor.

After experiencing numerous injuries, and going through physical therapy herself multiple times, she decided to switch careers to physical therapy. She loves that she is able to help others return to what they enjoy doing, like her physical therapist did for her. She obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant degree and graduated with Honors in 2017.

Kathryn thrives in the outpatient clinic setting, as she enjoys the individual challenges each patient brings and being able to utilize her out of the box thinking to get desired results. She continues to stay involved in the dance community as a substitute teacher and assistant at the American Ballet Theatre Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and hiking with her dog. She is currently working towards her Pilates instructor certification.
