Dr. Bill Cowdrey is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician providing chiropractic care and sports medicine services in South Orange County. With decades of experience in chiropractic care, physical therapy, and athletic training, he helps patients of all ages reduce pain, restore mobility and function, recover from injuries, and return safely to the activities they enjoy. Dr. Cowdrey earned undergraduate degrees in kinesiology and psychobiology from UCLA, where he worked alongside UCLA team physicians, athletic trainers, and coaches during Rose Bowl– and NCAA Championship winning seasons. After serving as Head Athletic Trainer at Los Angeles Valley College, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, cum laude, in 1988, began practicing in 1989, and later directed the BackCare Center within a multispecialty medical group in Laguna Hills. He is also a California Qualified Medical Examiner and is passionate about helping patients get “back in the game” with individualized, movement-focused care; outside the clinic, he enjoys boating, traveling, and attending sporting events with his wife, Sara.
