Get to Know Renee
I grew up in Claremont, CA, where I played competitive soccer year-round from a very young age, which is where my love of maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle began. When I was in highschool, I became a camp counselor at a summer camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes, originally to learn more about Type 1 Diabetes after my younger sister was diagnosed at the age of 10. I didn’t expect to love helping on the medical side so much; I then knew I wanted a career in the medical field. I narrowed it down to physical therapy because of the healthy/conservative approach, focus on proper exercise prescription, hands on care, and the time we are able to spend with each patient to develop real relationships, which is where we start to really make big gains in your goals. As your physical therapist, I aim to treat you as a whole person, not just a body part; I incorporate various manual treatment techniques, a personalized exercise program, and proper education to get you back to what you love and give you the tools to keep you doing what you love.
When I am not at work, I take every opportunity I can to travel, go to the beach, hike, snowboard, be with my dog, and cheer on my Florida State Seminoles!
